The most curious part of a desert is it’s secrets. History will tell tales of cowboys and the pride of the Native Wind-talkers. Canyons mimic what geologists know, and the wild burros remind us of The Gold Rush Era. But it’s curious that this harsh, dry environment is an oasis to the most delicate plant life. I know…the dry heat is on its way, but today… #pinkme.

Daily Post: Pink
Perhaps the blooming desert is all the more beautiful for the contrast between dry and barren and the delicate blossoms. When flowers are abundant they mean less.
I had a grandmother in Tucson, and these images remind me of her. Thanks for a lovely post.

Thanks for stopping by. Agreed. And I tend to nuture them so much more and never go blasting off trails to crush what might be living there.
