The landscape made us feel like we had rolled into a picture.

Maybe we had.

Tuff and Ty pulled the stagecoach along the dirt trail of Pleasant Valley.  The cookout was miles from civilization in Yellowstone’s back country.   The marmots watched the coach bump by, and the coyotes watched for stragglers; all unbothered by human intrusion.

The clip-clop of the hooves was joined by  the faint sound of country music bouncing off the valley hillsides, and a look ahead showed the destination.  That slim line of smoke, that wasn’t there moments before,  turned into the smell of campfires.

Tuff and Ty stopped in a lush meadow just in time for dinner and cowboy sing-a-longs.
