Today’s lesson is from the most important boy in my world; my grandson.
A few weeks ago I got a call from him at 6AM. He didn’t even say hello. On this early morning there was something more important then hellos. Here is his story:
“Gramma, Guess what, I found glow bugs and I put them in a jar to glow. I put them by my bed and they could be my nightlight. The glow is how they talk. We don’t know what they say, but it’s how they talk. My sleeping bag is like a cocoon. I hope they like sleeping next to me. I let them go in the morning so they could eat their breakfast.”
Sleep well little buddy, that mind has lots of work to do.
“Without inspiration the best powers of the mind remain dormant, there is a fuel in us which needs to be ignited with sparks.” – Johann Gottfried Herder
