Never ever underestimate the importance of having fun. -Randy Pausch.
There is this thing called life that is meant to be lived.
Do that.
The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch is not new. It is the wisdom of a college professor who knew he would only have months to live. And rather then talk about what is is like to die, he shared with his young children what it is like to live.
What he didn’t know is that he spoke to millions in this most powerful lecture about laughter, and love-wrapped memories.
If you have not heard his speech, listen here.
What resonates with you about how to live life?
Wow!!! Thank you for sharing this :)) Great inspiration for living each day! Dawn

It is. A great example about how we live on in others. I loved this when I watched it, and have placed a copy of the book in my memory box for the girls to find…someday. Thanks Dawn.

I had not seen this, thanks for sharing this Donna!! There is fun to be found in the simplest things, the hardest thing is to actively pursue fun rather than falling into the ‘I’ll do that tomorrow’ trap…

Best college lecture I ever watched! Thanks for sharing! I had a friend who died of prostate cancer, I saw her on my 40th birthday and she died 3 months later, with a to-do list 3 pages long, she exemplified what he was describing in his lecture. 🙂

HI Abrie. Gosh I could take advantage of your kindness here. haha. I too have not been around for a bit. My days are busy with company and grandchildren. I had to not visit WordPress at all for a bit. A change in priorities. I will return in time. Thank you for your note. I do have lots of photos that will become stories, in time. I hope you and your family are well .

I may no have had the parents he had, but there’s still time for me to BE them. This is fabulous. I think I’ll use it in the classroom.

Amen. I have watched in more then once. A classroom addition would be great, in fact I think kids, of any age, could compile their own list. Great idea.
