There is an immeasurable peace that can be found on the lake… if you open your heart and listen.
If it is a place to gather you seek, your invitation will come from morning.
If it is solitude that calls, toss the anchor in the secluded coves,
And cherish the unexpected.
Quiet? Yes…there is quiet.
Nature will not betray a heart that loves her. – Wordsworth

I can imagine it would be. Arizona is way to hot for me, even if it is ‘dry’ heat.

It’s funny. When I was putting the post together, I was thinking how there are so many people who love the wave runners, and waterskis , and party barges, but there is always room for the quieter moments that attract me and those who surround me. I think most of my blogging friends like tranquility like I do, which is comforting. Thanks again Kate.

The light coming through the clouds and the man with his dog, we don’t get to see that everyday. This place is heavenly.

It is definite our respite in the summer months. Thank you. I see the man and his dog all the time now. Amazing fun for them.

Arizona cooling looks fantastic. Beautifully caught atmosphere too – serenity and peace. Looking at this series gives me a sense of quiet and solitude, which is just the way I like my vacations to be.

Is there any fish in that clear water? 😀 I’d dunk my feet in there and forget about the problems. 😀

Yes. fish galore and surprisingly enough there is even a bass competition in early Spring. We don’t do much fishing, but it is fun to see all the energy that goes into catching fish.

Oh wow. I am a lousy fishermen, 😀 do enjoy a good fish stew. You must look up the recipe for it. It is divine. 😀

I will do that.
I think we are all good fishermen if we just take the patience to sit there. I think those of us who aren’t (me included) can’t sit still that long.

Looking forward to returning to visit Lake Pleasant. One of my favorite parks in Maricopa County! Keep cool this summer.

Hi John. Thanks. You’re in ND right? Yes. Pretty hot this week, which is too bad, we just got our boat back from monsoon damage and now its way to hot. Next week… Enjoy your cooler temps.

Yup. It is perfect this week in Fargo. Temps in the high 70s to low 80s, I guess.
