To drink coffee and watch the sunrise
with nowhere to go.
To climb a mountain for the view not for
the selfie
To spend more time with my family, not
working to afford things we don’t need.
It’s time to slowdown. To stop. To listen.
It’s time to turn off the noise and
distractions, the constant need for more,
the comparisons and consumerism.
It’s time,
to live,
simply.
-Helen Munday
The pandemic has helped make it easier to live simply or to simply live, but I agree with the idea. I was at Clothes Mentor today, musing with the saleswoman about people who spend hundreds of dollars on a purse and how we’d prefer to spend the weekend away. 🙂

I love this. I started to simplify when we lived in my parent’s spare room for 5 months when a home remodel turned into a home repair. I decided I didn’t need a different outfit for work every day of the month! And now, I agree even more. Keeping it simple 😊

I find life is so much easier when it is simplified. I felt the same when we life in an RV for two years. Initially wasn’t sure how I would manage and realized how silly that was after about 2 weeks.

I think as life changes, so does our priorities. Hopefully for the better!

I do accept that it is time to live simply. Now I just have to practice what you preach!

Don’t we all. I would be happy to never have a car and use my bike for transportation (or my feet). It is often unrealistic especially when my husband loves cars. For us it is a matter of finding balance.. I guess that is the truism.

Beautiful message – simplicity has become overshadowed with living fast, consumerism etc.. which is sad because. lot of happiness is rooted in the most simple ways and simple things in life.✨
