One of the nicest things about life, is the ability to stop what we are doing and devote our entire attention to it.

Backstroke in the pool is my favorite swim stroke. I save it for last so I can have suitable time for pondering, reflection and cloud gazing. The wispiness of the clouds, told of a passing monsoon. And there is the tiniest glimmer of hope more rain is on the way.

Like most people I started searching for shapes in the clouds. I saw a pig, a mountain, a heart and the perfect scoop of ice cream. I finished my laps, gathered some props, and my iPhone.

I admit I had more fun than I had success. The clouds changed quickly, the sun challenged my views, and while fun, the iPhone was not the best choice.

Did it matter?

Does it ever matter when it is fun?

Enjoy my efforts.

The first was a bit too coffee-steam like.

This one was disconnected and empty.

This? A bit too thin.

Just right? For today anyway.

The art of being happy lies in the power of extracting happiness from common things.

Cheers to Ice Cream!

Wind Kisses, Donna
