Tarantism
tar·ant·ism/ˈterənˌtizəm/noun
- a psychological illness characterized by an extreme impulse to dance, prevalent in southern Italy from the 15th to the 17th century, and widely believed at the time to have been caused by the bite of a tarantula.

The real question is…Do you need to be bit by a tarantula to dance, or do you just need to see one?

Interesting… David Bowie says…let’s dance put on your red shoes and dance the blues…I might be doing that if I was bit by a tarantula!

Hahaha. I love that song. It will be on my mind all day. Funny to picture moving around to that best with a tarantula. They are pretty slow, and docile. So it would fit. That’s for the prompt.

hahaha. I used to think that. They are quite interesting to see in the wild. NOW if one decided to snuggle up in my garage or patio….that is a different chapter. Donna
