My husband warns everyone who stays in our guest room that we don’t really have a peeping someone outside. And to not be afraid when looking out the window.
The first time he said it, I didn’t know what he was talking about.
Of course we don’t. The only things outside are my gardens and the critters that come with them. The side yard outside the guest room is a lush walkway with effort to make make it feel like an oasis in this arid climate. I spend a lot of time out there and thought maybe he was poking fun at me.
No.
I realized he was talking about “my girl”. The planter filled with succulent hair. She is complete with dolphin string, elephant plant, and climbing aloe. I think she is beautiful and a unique addition to my yard decor.
Apparently he thinks she looks like a creeper. And I guess in a moonlit sky, to someone who doesn’t know she is there, there might be a little bit of creepy involved.
But I love her, along with other unique and original garden decor.
What do you think? Creepy or Cutie?
Wind Kisses, Donna

I like her, Donna. What I find creepy is one of my s-i-l’s who lives in a second story apartment but doesn’t have curtains on her bedroom windows. She has a very high bed which I/we use when visiting but if I can see out to the street and beyond, that means people can see in, especially at night when the lights are on. I always change into pj’s with the lights off.

hahaha. Yes, that is truly creepy. I’m with you. Watch our for in-coming drones next time. lol. The back of my house is open all the time with decorative curtains that don’t close (not my bedroom). With the popularity of drones, it crosses my mind that it might now be as private as I thought. I few months back a police helicopter was looking for someone and the lights came right in the house. Not creepy, but I hid anyway.

Very cute, Donna, and I love the hanging wall art. Good reminder to me to think about that as we explore our landscaping next spring 🙂
