Got your attention, didn’t it?
There is nothing like a cold beer on a hot day with great people and country music. Ah, yes. The music you either love, or love to hate. Either way, it is my go to these days. It is easy to sing along with in the car, and if you have not stepped it up to Fancy That, it is time.
But what about the beer? So many country songs tell a story, or are of people who are in love…or broken. And there always seems to be beer or whiskey involved. No doubt, in my mind, that most of the songs were written in a bar. Stand by…
There’s a Cold Beer Calling My Name – Luke Combs
And in case you need one, here is your invite….
The Beer’s on Me – Dierks Bentley
But beer is cultural, isn’t it?
So here is to a long life and a merry one. An quick death and an easy one. A pretty girl and an honest one.
A cold beer and another one – Irish Saying

The best beers are the ones we drink with friends. Prost. – Donna

Everybody’s got to believe in something, I believe I’ll have another beer. – W.C. Fields

And here in Arizona.
A fine beer may be judged with one one sip, but its better to be thoroughly sure – Czech proverb.

Bahaha, my uncle would approve of this post. He worked for the biggest brewery in Slovenia all his working life. For you, na zdravje, as we say in Slovenian and this song by some happy American-Slovenians. Pivo = beer.

Imagine me inspiring someone to have a cold beer. My husband will enjoy that! I could never develop a taste for beer – cold day or otherwise. Pizza or no pizza. Beer leaves me cold. 🙂 LOL Thanks for joining in, Donna. This is a great post! 🙂

Thank you. With your “cold” theme…the beer just jumped out at me while I was in my car, and I said: That’s it! Beer songs it is.
Not the smoothest written post I have done, but fun for me just the same.
I’m not much of a beer drinker either. It’s relative to where I am or what I am eating.
The beer in the flowers photo? I opened it for the photo then put it in the fridge. My husband came out from work and thought it was so nice of me to have a beer ready. ( I didn’t have the heart to tell him it was for a photo) so he feels extra loved now🤗

Love it! I’m not a big beer fan, but on rare occasion I can enjoy🍺
…I’m more of a foo foo drink with the umbrella poking out, on a lounge chair on the beach kind of gal 😁🌴🍹 Hey, but your party looks like loads of fun!!

I’m a little like you regarding beer. In Germany, Ireland, England? I’m always in! I prefer a nice glass of red wine wherever I am.
Ok…the beach sometimes called for the foofoo. 😉

Love it! Just listened. Great song, funny as I would expect. An Aussie country singer, who knew? I do now. Thank you. Super funny lyrics.

Great. Sorry I was on my phone and am hopeless at linking but was hoping you would have liked the song. Glad the Aussie lingo wasn’t a hindrance. There are lots of country singers in Australia. You must have heard of Keith Urban for one 🙂

Oh gosh…. Of course I know Keith Urban. I forgot he was an Aussie. Saw him in concert once. Outstanding!
I loved the lingo. Makes it extra.
