How often do you sit down at your computer and think…
I got nothing.
To tell the truth, that rarely happens to me. My struggle is having too many things to talk about, and trying to narrow down.
My writing style is simple, deliberate, and hopefully one that leaves an impression or a message that resonates longer than it takes to read my post. And I like it that way.
Inspiration from other bloggers is paramount in guiding my thoughts and content, and this week Tina of Lens-Artists tasks us with honoring those who do just that. After all, together we are community, a family, so it seems natural we should lift each other up.
And if you haven’t seen different interpretations of what you are writing about, you are in for a treat.
To start, I would like to thank Tina, Amy, Patti, Ann Christine, Sofia, Anne, and John who co-host the Lens-Artists community. Their beautiful photography and their commitment to inspiring others is what every level of photographer needs.

Next is a shout out to a few of the blogs I frequent, knowing they will tempt me with a word, a challenge or an idea. In every instance, everything is subject to interpretation.

And finally, to too many others who have inspired me through comments, feedback, and engagement. It is you who keeps me coming back when I feel too busy to sit down, or overwhelmed with what life has thrown at me. It would be impossible to list all of you here.
Do know my blog has grown because of you.
Wind kisses, Donna

Wonderful post Donna. There are lots of people to inspire to improve or to just get out there and write, photograph and post your story. I love your adventures. Thanks for the mentions 🤗💕

I love your opening photo. It reminds me of the many times I’ve been in the desert near our place in Buckeye to capture those beautiful Arizona skies.
I’ve been following your blog for a while and though I haven’t always commented, I’ve enjoyed your take on Arizona and the great southwest. Keep writing and telling your stories, Donna!

Thanks John. The feelings are mutual. It is always great to see what other Arizona folks are up to. You have an amazing impact on this blogging world, and I was glad to see you have joined Lens-Artists. Donna
Funny, I thought of you when I decided to use that photo. Happy Monday.

Thank YOU. Wish I had more time these days. I find if I just keep [lugging along as I can, I always find people I love connecting with. Thanks for being one. I really love your public art challenge, and look forward to hopping on there one day. The Chandler Mural Walk is on my list. Happy Monday.

I’ve never been there. I’m going to put it on my bucket list. My former neighbor visits there all the time to stay with their daughter.

So you haven’t been there either?

No. In fact a local hiking group even organized a “slow and easy” hike to it. Just couldn’t get there.
I always enjoy a trip to ikea too, and I don’t think it’s too far. Figured it would be twofold .
On another note. Have you ever seen mystery house? I did a post on it a year or so ago. So interesting to put on your list for public art, culture, history, and quotes.

I have seen the Mystery House several times, but I don’t think I have any photos of it. That would be a great piece. You’d have to get permission to take pictures to publish possibly, but maybe not. San Jose has some incredible places for public art and lots of places that aren’t public – like the museums. I have some excellent oddball shots for squares from one of the museums there. Not to mention the people on the street are pretty interesting, too. 🙂

I asked about taking photos so hopefully I haven’t broken any rules. I loved it there too.
Lol. people are always interesting.

It’s always safe if you ask. Vince and I went to a museum in Wickenburg yesterday and they said it was fine to take pictures. When we were almost ready to go, a docent told us we could take pictures, but no flash. Oooops! Too late!

Yes, I always ask too, but most places that don’t like it have it blasted all over the place.
Wickenburg is fun.

Donna, you have been a long-time supporter and participant for Sunday Stills, and I always look forward to your wonderful posts and gorgeous photography. You definitely take advantage of your leisure lifestyle and are proud to share your stories. You really double-quadruple dipped and I love the first photo as well as the camera with the butterfly visiting! Another wonderful thing that often happens, is that many of us bloggers meet each other IRL and develop awesome friendships, not to mention the online friendships that are found and nurtured. We’re at the point whenever we travel, that we know a blogger who lives near where we’re heading and that just makes my day!

I love everything about this response. Thank you. I think you were one of the first people that I felt like I connected with and not wanting to stay hidden. For a long time I didn’t use my name because I just wanted a place to land.
So…the reason for the photo in the “future” post was THAT journey starts THIS weekend. We will be in Anza Borrego to start.
Thanks again for this lovely comment, Terri. Always appreciate you, We will meet face to face one of these days….

A lovely tribute to the WP community & a fabulous way to affirm these challenges & their hosts – I am so glad to have you at The Changing Seasons.
So many lovely images …. my two favourite have to be the Feature photo (the light & shadows, and the beguiling composition) and the butterfly on your camera.

Thank you so much, Donna, for your kind words about LAPC. You inspire us as much as we inspire you! That’s been such an important part of the challenge. Some of these challenges you highlight I knew, but others are new. Thanks for introducing them to me! I love those two sunset shots!
