If it’s soft down underneath…. noooooooo!
There’s a place in Wickenburg that swallows jeeps and trucks… I’ve seen it.
If there are rocks… then you are good to go.
Looks warm!
He went ahead. He is pretty good at not taking unnecessary risk and we are rarely alone. This time we were. We saw lots of other tracks. I stayed on the bank.
The days were warm. 70’s 37 at night. Cool mornings for us as we were camping.
I have heard you say there is quick sand in some spots. Scary. We were on alert up in the White Pocket area too. Until we moved here, I didn’t ever think is would be more than in movies for me. Real stuff though.
Honestly, we had never heard of it and we have been here 10 years. We were coming home on the 60 towards Wickenberg and saw the sign. Its pretty isolated. very pretty and some short hikes. Scenic. most people there are fishing, or on OHVs I guess this is part of the Arizona Peace Trail, (I had to look that up too)
Looks nice and warm there. I’m ready for a little warmer temps!

Love the photo. I had to look up the location of Alamo Lake. It isn’t that far from us… we might just have to make a day trip.

Nicely set up shot, Donna. Crossing the Rubicon? 🙂 I think of that every time I see a Rubicon Jeep and especially when I walk in front of one.
