Usually we are hiking on the ridge of a hill, just north. This morning I could hear the coyotes in the distance and it would have been a great day to be up there.
Then again, it always is.
The truth is, I just love the way the sun introduces us to the day. Somedays it is more colorful than others, and somedays it is downright rotten. I can relate.
But it arrives...
And you are invited.
Wind Kisses, Donna

I will take that plunge any morning when the sun gives a gift like what you shared, Donna! Perfect!

Beautiful, Donna. I have to admit that I’ll be jealous of Janet tomorrow about lunchtime. How’s your daughter doing? You can update Janet on all that’s going on.

True. I just don’t see them as often because I’m inside fixing dinner or something and there are so many houses in the way. In the morning I’m at least out a bit from all the houses. 🙂

At the moment we are up to 2 sunny days per month. The rest is rain and storm. If I imagine that all that rain had come down as snow, we would have been cut off, I presume.

Wow that is a lot of storm. It’s tough when it doesn’t quit. Snow? You would be digging tunnels to get around.

I remember years like that, when they in Copenhagen didn’t know where to deposit all the snow from the roads. At the end they put it into the roads down by the waterfront, where the last snow melted in the following July. On the motorways only one lane had been cleared, and the cars were driving in a tunnel, as you said, with high snow all on both sides. No, definitely better with rain …

Wow. Hard to fathom it taking so long to melt. July…. And rain brings beautiful gardens.

Beautiful gardens up to a point … 😉 … in very humid years the flowers rot on the stilks, but better too much water than too little, the flowers will come again the next year.

What a gorgeous sunrise Donna! Since I rarely am awake for sunrise, I enjoy sunsets for similar reasons and light shows!
