This morning the sun seemed to melt across the sky.

I think of those who might speculate why the clouds look the way they do. I know about the weather patterns behind the shapes, flows, and streaks too.
Sometimes I just want to enjoy the soft, blurry streaks without reason. Today was that day.
A reminder to breath out too. Flow with it, if that makes sense.
Even when the sticky stuff gets in the way.

Wind Kisses, Donna
Wow. That contrast with the long-spined cacti is wonderful.

A hedgehog cactus. Their flowers are hot pink, and large. A favorite.

Just don’t get too close to the cactus, beautiful as it is. 🙂 Breathing in to me is the excitement and joy at the sunrise or whatever I’m seeing. Breathing out is relaxing into the pleasure of the moment. Love both.

The month of January gives me those breath in and out days. A time to enjoy the slow down after Christmas. Then adding a sunset or sunrise adds to that peacefulness.
Beautiful photos!

Thank you. Yes… this is a time of year to love the desert. Than again, I love it all the time.

Thank you. Pretty chilly in your neck of the woods? We were camping last weekend, and were surprised at how cold our nights were. But always grateful for time outside.
Hope you are well.

No, no sign of winter here. The water doesn’t freeze over night, just fog and sun in the afternoon, windy at times, wearing a jacket is recommended though.

Sounds like Washington State weather in the US.

Yes, it does, but this weather now is so strange and odd because the last time we had similar conditions it was in the 80′. I am used to below 20 Celsius, three feet tall snow, and clear sky. This… this is wrong, surely devastating for the crops, and the people are getting more sick because they work outside since the temperatures are above average. You know, wet feet, a little bit of wind and the nose starts running.

That’s true. Always something lingering. And we have had unseasonable cold. Crazy…

Beautiful skies and that cactus is amazing. I feel similarly about the stars. I know what they are, scientifically-speaking, but most of the time I just want to enjoy how they look.

That’s true Sarah. I agree. I have a friend who lives night photography and her photos are stunning. For me, it feels like work. And yet I appreciate that we all do what we love.
