Sedona is a gorgeous place but I’m pretty sure God lives in Wyoming although he might vacation in Sedona. π

Hahaha. Could be. Wyoming is Gods country for sure.

Donna, are these pics recent of Sedona? Snow is quite beautiful there but, boy more than a few inches puts the whole town in a tizzy! We experienced 7 inches Dec 31, 2018, our first time there. What a mess. The RV was already parked at the campground that is overlooked by the main drag. We couldn’t drive the truck back into the campground, then couldn’t leave for two more days. I sure got a lot of great photos though. Fun to see the snow when I’m not there for a change π

Yes. Recent, but we waited a few days for the roads a chaos to clear. The trails were very icy, in the shade, and hillsides look like someone sprinkled powdered sugar on them.
We in one of the photos you can see ice underfoot. We watched one βguy who knew betterβ, lose footing and almost went over. π© scary. But we are pretty family with the actual trails, so thatβs always a plus.
It is a treat to see the snow. We make it a point to go up.

They have had their share this winter.
Iβve been enjoying the fireplace here in our home down in the valleyβ¦ a lot longer this winter then usual. Itβs all good!

Such a surprise to see the snow in the GC, Donna. I was going to say that it looks like an accident waiting to happen, and then I read an earlier comment. I really love that photo. How do the cacti fare in the snow?

The cacti do surprisingly well as long as it doesnβt linger, because after all it IS water.
Yes, scary fall for that guy.

Very beautiful photos, Donna! I remember our visit to Devils Bridge. I was nervous enough without snow! Once was enough, but your photos are wonderful!

Yes, itβs a difficult hike without snow. The one section that goes up was a frozen waterfall when we were there a few days ago. My husband let me decide. I had major neck surgery a few years ago, so I always decide with my confidence level. We took our time, and took some out of towners with us. If you read other comments, one guy slid down the ice and just about saw his last beautiful landscape. And then my husband chewed him out, (once he knew he was OK.) We went for the snow though, and I wanted to see the bridge with ice. Itβs only an hour drive for us. Iβm glad we went, but we were familiar with the hike and the terrain. π€
I love Sedona.

Thank you. We watched the news that night to see if there were any helicopter rescues. It wouldnβt have been the first time we saw that. Lots of unnecessary risk . But yes. We were safe and happy to make it.

Always. If we need a moment to just enjoy the outdoor, Sedona never disappoints, in any season. Thank Sarah.

Thanks for the Sedona peep show Donna! I wish I had explored instead of driving through, but oh well.

It is something we don’t see very often. I told all the tourists who were on the hike with us to take a photo of the cacti with snow. It is quite unique. Thanks for your visit Shawn.
