This morning I stopped at a red light while on the way to a spin class. I wasn’t late, but found myself a little irritated anyway. Ever felt like that? We have places to go, things to do, and that dang red light gets in the way. On another note, how pathetic to think that we get irritated by inanimate objects that try to control us. And do!
Silly, isn’t it?
With the green light I moved along.
It was then I realized everything about the green lights is the red light. It is the acknowledgment we need to move forward, that permission to proceed once again.
And what about the other red lights/road blocks in life. What about those irritating things that stop us. And things we can’t seem to get through. What then? What is the green light then? Maybe instead of focusing on what stops us, we should focus on what drives us, or moves us along. Whether we like it or not red lights encompass every part of our lives. How we handle it is our green light.
Is it a closed door?
Open it. Trust me, there is more than one way.

Is it the weather?
Wait for it.

Intimidation?
Go around. Or in this case, patience is paramount.

Hit your limit?
Look around, take a deep breath, you are just getting started.

What’s stopping you? What’s in your way? Is there any way you can take that red light and turn it green?
Try.
Green lights…
