Sometimes all you need is a splash of color.
For me, New England will always be home. It holds traditions, legacies, and constants. It always will. And while I know I will never live there again, I think we all still need to know what feels like home, don’t we? We had our share of lobster and beach walks, and unlike the locals I was happy to see autumn trickling in.
Old Quebec, Canada a UNESCO World Heritage treasure, is a charming walkable city with cobblestone streets and sidewalk restaurants made for watching the day go by. What I fell in love with was the creative art bringing those shops and streets to life. Le Petit Champlain is a must if you visit.
