When something is described as likely, we all know there is a high probability, it will happen. For example, if the weather forecast predicts rain, chances are are pretty good it will rain. And if it rains, chances are pretty good, my gardens will thrive.
On another note, unlikely means there is a slim chance of something happening, or perhaps if it does, it is unexpected. Snow in the desert would be a great example. Or…what about finding a troll under a bridge. Definitely unexpected, and likely a fun find in Omaha, Nebraska.

Our recent travel was inundated with surprises and fun finds like finding Omar the Troll above. Over time, I have discovered, the likely and unlikely are are equally commonplace. The trick is…paying attention. And nature has a nice way of reminding us what that looks like.

I may be wrong, but it is highly unlikely…
