Amidst holiday lights, twinkling stars, and the bright eyes of wonderment, today we look for what is Magical.
Magic exists. Who can doubt it when we make wishes on stars or blow dandelion seeds into the wind? Who can doubt it when we chase rainbows with crossed fingers, and run through wildflowers that resemble pots of gold?
And let us not forget the magical powers behind a little girl with a magic wand.

And what of love?
Anyone who has loved has been touched by magic. It is such a simple and such an extraordinary part of the lives we live. – Nora Roberts.

Magic exists. It doesn’t have to be a time or a place, it just has to have all the feels.

Most of us will agree the sunrise and sunset have magical qualities. They are never the same and they offer mystery and anticipation on both ends. And have you noticed how they are responsible for the short chapters of our lives? Our days?
Find that magical place in your world…and live there.

During our recent trip I promised myself two things. First, I would be present on the top deck of the cruise ship for every sunrise and sunset, pending weather. Interestingly enough, I was usually alone as vacations allow lazy mornings and cocktail hours. For those wee moments meant for me, magical was an understatement.
For one minute, walk outside, stand there, in silence, look up at the sky and contemplate how amazing this life can be.

Second, I set my alarm for every port call from Venice, Italy to Miami, Florida. There were days we floated our way into private fjords. There were days we backed into ancient fortresses and even times for modern cities. And with each port there was this sense of wonder, much like Christmas morning might feel to a child.
The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper. – Bertrand Russell.
