I don’t think of myself as a purple person.
We all have our favorite colors. Mine is green, every shade of green. But as we sit on a hillside in Moab, Utah it is purple that speaks to me. And with Terri on my mind I will tell you…TODAY, purple is my favorite color.
We don’t have control over what happens to us in life, but we do have control over how we respond.

To thine own self be true. – Shakespeare

And honestly, if I was a landscape, I would take advantage of my own happiness and spread it as far as I could.

Always choose adventure.

Wind Kisses, Donna
Oh my gosh, these are so beautiful, Donna! As much as I love seeing so many rich shades of people, green is also my favorite color, hands down! Is this view from where you are staying–just spectacular! The purple flowers and blossoms are such a nice touch to the post 🙂

Lunch stops and road-trips. The bouquet was Mother’s Day . I always decorate our table even though we are kind of vagabonds.

I agree that these purples are gorgeous. My Flower of the Day happens to be purple, as well.

Purple. Always seems like it has to try harder to be present. And when it is… gorgeous.

Those purple buttes are stunning! And no, I wouldn’t have had you down as a purple person either, but most of us can respond positively to any colour in the right setting, which these purples clearly are 💜

Is that Moab? I thought at first glance it might be the Grand Canyon – a view I hadn’t seen. I haven’t been to Moab yet, but it is on my bucket list, which is pretty long!

Moab is beautiful. Yes he feature photo is from a viewpoint in the La Sal Mountains. If you that drive is a must do. I think it is the only place you can see Moab from above and it is paved. There is also dinosaur imprints up there. The rest of the time you are in the canyons, washes, and mesas. Also fun, but a very different view. We love it there and travel safely off-road with friends. Plenty to do if you are not interested in off-road adventures too
