Wind is what happens when air falls in love with itself. – Webster
Like many bloggers, I am inspired by photo challenges and daily word prompts. This week Frank, of Dutch goes the Photo encouraged us to photograph wind.
Wind? Clearly I have walked this path before, and so I find it is my prerogative to step up to the plate. Before I ever started a blog I wanted to make sure my name generated a feeling and a reflection of who I am. Wind Kisses fit. Today after rereading my first post I realize while my thoughts have emerged, they remain a reflection of how I live life, and how I love life.
Today this is what is on mind.
Strange or not I believe the wind whispers secrets in its own incomprehensible language. It gathers stories, remembers our voices, and carries memories of yesterday.

And isn’t it fun when the wind simply says:“I’ll just set this right here”.
Ever been in love? Like true love, wind can’t be seen, only felt.

And it leaves us gifts to witness it’s omnipotent presence.

Strength? We get that from wind too, when we resist it, collect and decide that any wind is the right wind.
Forget not that the Earth delights to feel your bare feet, and the winds long to dance with your hair. – Gibran.
Wind Kisses, Donna
Love this and the photos especially the first where I could really feel it’s presence.

Thank you Marie. I told Frank (of the challenge) I would pretend this one was for me. He said “yup, figured you would hop right in”. lol.

The earth has felt and will feel my bare feet again, but somewhere I have to draw a line. I will not allow the wind to play with my hair…

Love it! Love your beautiful words.
But that last picture of YOU… is that Horseshoe Canyon? I know there was wind there… I would have taken that picture of you but with a rope tied around your waist!

hahaha, yes. Horseshoe Bend. The thing is, as I am sure you have been there, it was pretty deceiving. I guess I could have tripped and fallen, but I think I was ok. What I love about this picture is the perspective of the height. The tiny white dot by my head is a boat.
I still haven’t boated down there. We thought we would transport our boat up there one summer as we have friends that do it, but time got away from us, and we have since sold the boat. Thanks for visiting. love you.
